I ordered this patient lift sling for my son because it said the material used would hold patient in place better. It does and also is also more comfortable. It is a much better choice than the regular sling.

Love this product! Most slings are too hard to get right with the crossing of the legs straps! This makes it so much more simple, supportive, and easy to use!

We had been using the wrong size Hoyer lift that was MESH. I stumbled across this and bought it. My sister ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT. She said its so comfortable and it actually holds her up to aide with bed-to-wheelchair transfer. We got a size Medium, she's 5' tall and weights 230lbs. I didnt think the oversized lifts made a big difference but after getting her the medium vs the xlarge mesh I used before HUGE difference.

While the sling is very supportive, the straps and binding are so hard and scratchy and the fabric is the body is so stiff, it's difficult to get it shoved underneath your body in a way that doesn't hurt when you have to roll to your other side to even out and straighten the sling. And God forbid the straps flip over and smack you in the head! They're very hard, heavy and rigid. That also makes them a bit more challenging to hook onto the lift.I do wish the sling was a little wider in the middle for those of us who are plus sized. There's not a lot of wiggle room side to side, especially if you're not able to physically scoot your hips. If you're off center at all, you will need to roll and reposition the sling. The texture of the inner fabric doesn't allow for sliding or scooting either. So be sure to position correctly the first time.

My husband slid right out of the sling and ended up having to have additional surgery on this leg. Not sure what to say for someone else, can't recommend it. Intended to return it but did not get it back in time from the facility he had been staying in. It would have been nice to have the money back.

You have your choice of loops to attach to the lift, depending on how long you need them to be. This sling is being used for a person 180 kg and I am fully confident it holds a heavier person without fear of falls. I would not use this for bathing because of it’s heavy thickness, but I put my full trust in it for lifting and transferring . I would recommend this sling to others.

Git cha one, Sis. Or Sir! *wink* no judgement. We do all kinds of stuff in ours. Just put a towel down to protect the fabric to keep from having to wash it after every use.

I cannot tell what your Medium and Large sizes are. Is there not a more descriptive way to determine if it fits a person? Poor description.

Was willing to pay @$400. + at a medical supply store but this is a great substitute for the price. I washed and put it in the drying and it softened up a bit. Still a bit stiff but works great. Can’t believe how much the medical supply stores gouge you at a time when you’re most vulnerable.

Purchased a couple of different lift slings. This one was by far the worst. It is very bulky and stiff to use. Much too big and bulky for the person using it. Solid material instead of the mesh so it was hot to sit in.

Sturdy and stiff. Seems fine for someone who doesn't need a softer fabric to be rolled up on the sides of wheelchair seat. Also, definitely a medium. Not for a small person. Otherwise, it is fine for the right person. Looks like it would hold up very well.

Really needs directions that are better. We were convinced it was sewn wrong for a period of time and the guide straps were in upside down while we tried to get it working. Also the straps have really sharp attachment points where they strap was cut and fixed so it would fray. It is strong and a semi soft brushed inside which is a plus for old delicate skin.I added tape and leg warmers over top of the uncomfortable strap areas but it would be a5 if I hadn't had any of these issues.

Watch the youtube videos on how to get the sling under the patient. Once you master that, this sling is a game changer. Very sturdy and reliable tool for getting my mom up and down.

My mom and I love this sling. The material is soft and breatheable for when mom decides to keep it behind her for longer periods of time. The hooks on the corners are strong, and color coordinated. The only thing against it is the tough trimming. At the borders is an almost canvas material that can be rough on the skin - especially when lifting someone who is sitting on sling. I alleviated the problem by putting my hands between the canvas border and mom's skin as she is lifted, and once she's up, I'll ease my hands out and make sure the sling isn't bunched up and causing pain. Other than that - awesome sling.
