This sling works well, but dang they could have used softer materials for the stitching and edges they dig in and scratch my legs. A bit overpriced but all in all a solid sling.

Using a lift for my handicapped daughter, I tried a full body mesh sling. It was too difficult to get under her. With her arthritic hip rolling side to side doesn't work very well. The regular split leg worked well, but wasn't very comfortable to leave around her in bed. This one is perfect, it has the lightweight mesh, and the split legs. I have been able to move her several times daily, and keep her bottom clean and dry, avoiding bedsores.

Getting all the straps connected to the lift is a challenge. When the top straps are connected, the bar on the list is in the patients face. Probably going to replace this one with something else.

My wife weighs 110 pounds and I had a medium sling which put her in a "fetal position". She seemed uncomfortable also. Now that I have the small sling with 6 loop attachments she is much safer and more comfortable. Due to her dementia/Alzheimer she has stiff legs and with this small sling I can put her into the tub much easier.

I really liked the shower sling. The reasons it did not work for my severely disabled grandson is as follows:
1. I ordered a small but it was huge! it could hold 450 lbs and our grandson is 110.
2. Our shower is small and narrow, our grandson is tall and lanky so getting him in the
shower tweeked his neck.
3. There was so much material (netting) around his trunk I couldnt wash him properly.
I am asking for a RA number to return and a credit to my account. I was hoping this was going to work for our boy.

We have a free standing tub and use a Hoyer lift to get my husband in the tub. The 3 sets of loops help him feel secure and with. The cross over leg supports are much more comfortable and make it easier to help him soak in the tub.

Did not like the 3 sets of straps on each side. And straps were extremely harsh and stiff. Wouldn’t dare try it on my husband and chance skin issues. Returned.

We use this sling for my father to get him in and out of his bed and into his fancy wheelchair. Because of the way the leg part is cut, it is pretty simple to lean his chair back and slip that part out from under him so that we can remove the sling by pulling it up from behind him and not leave him sitting in it all day. Even though he is not a large man any more, we still use the large size. We can get enough of the back part under his butt to make him (and us) feel secure when transporting from bed to chair and back. We do not put him in the shower, but this sling would be good for that due to the mesh material.

The direction for a wheel chair are very dangerous. The occupant always slides out if this sling is used from a wheel chair and has a heavy bottom. If used from a bed, the black waist line hand straps can be placed at mid hip and the the occupant only slides about 4 inches in the sling.

I have to very attentive when using it to make sure I don’t harm his skin. I also found all of the loops/straps annoying. I ended up cutting off the side loops, feeling like they were more of a hinderance than a help. There was a learning curve, trying to find the best way to position him in the sling. Once we figured out what works for us, it has proven to be a good product.

Just arrived. Size is as expected. Quality appears adequate. But the stale overpowering smell of mildew is overwhelming and this needs washed before use.

My mother is basically paralyzed so the women in the family had a hard time picking her up and placing her on the portable toilet. This attachment to her lift really helps. I do have to say i dropped her once. I say it was my fault because I pulled the sling up and she basically fell through. It hasn't happened again and we're extra extra careful now.

Obtained this product for my wife, to use for bathing & toileting, using a Hoyer lift. Seems very well made & the size chart helped me select the correct size. The mesh fabric is a bit stiff & would be uncomfortable for prolonged use. It would be helpful if it came with instructions on its use or an available on-line training video. A good product.

The sling was ginormous. It could have held 5 people. There must be NO SIZE DIFFERENCE in the slings offered. Quite disappointed. Can't imagine how huge the large must be...maybe it would hold 10 people... No, it did not meet my expectations. It was most disappointing to once again realize how hard it is to get quality equipment for the disabled

This is a very well made sling. It has been a life saver for us. My husband is a big man so it's not easy moving him in and out of his wheel chair for bathroom needs. The handles in the back are also a big help when we have to swing him a little further than the lift can reach.

So I originally order a large and that was too big for my husband. He is 5”10 and 160 lbs this thing was to long and wide. So I ordered and medium and it fights him just right. This is well made, no issues, looks like it would be comfortable but please know the "L" size is huge, way too big for my 6'3' 285 lb+ dad. I should have ordered a M.
